This project was a complete website overhaul and redesign timed to coincide with the launch of Kirby Krackle's second album in March 2010. The theme was heavily inspired by the album's cover art.

Their old site was a standard WordPress site with tons of small subpages, so a key goal was simplifying things while keeping the individual pages manageable. But perhaps more importantly, the focus of the website is now attracting new fans rather than simply reporting news. The interactive listening gadgets and social media links are in prime position in the upper left quadrant of the screen, while the large banner images are replaced with art from the album cover.

I created multiple comps and worked with the band to settle on this design. The entire site was coded by my hand in CSS, HTML, and simple Javascript. I also handled the digital editing of the cover art to adapt it for Web use.

Scotch 'n' Soda Theatre

During my years with the Scotch 'n' Soda theatrical organization (1998-2002), I redesigned their website several times as the Web advanced, each exploring a distinctly different visual design. The design pictured here was also incorporated into a recruitment campaign with posters and flyers (see Graphic Design).

Interactive Theatre Initiative

I served as the Producer on the Interactive Theatre Initiative, a project at CMU's Entertainment Technology Center, during Fall 2002. As part of my duties I created this website - primarily used as a base for open house presentations to visiting guests, it does not feature a highly detailed information architecture.

Personal Website

The last revision of my website, created in 2002, was a more traditional table-based site.

The design elements were intended to invoke an artistic feel (with the natural media brushstrokes) to emphasize my dual focus as an artist and technologist.

Compusolve Enterprises

This website was done as a freelance design project during December of 1999 for multimedia production company Compusolve, Ent. The site was live until the company shut its doors five years later.
