On November 4, 2025 Cheryl Platz marked the end of her first year as Creative Director, Game Studio at The Pokémon Company International, focused on her work on Pokémon TCG Live – the digital version of the world-famous paper Pokémon Trading Card Game. She does not speak frequently in public about her work directly, as TPCi has high brand standards for external communication. But there is a tradition of celebrating annual milestones, and Cheryl took this moment to reflect with gratitude on some of the milestones she achieved with her team by focusing on the “why” behind everything they do.
